NOW BOOKING MUSICIANS FOR 2027
The Cowboy Confessional show is all about highlighting talented musicians and storytellers. We are always on the lookout for other artists who like what we do, and want to be a part of it.
Each show features a musical guest, who opens the event with a 40-minute set. The second part of the show is hosted by our band of phony cowboys. Each show revolves around a specific theme. We play songs to set the mood, and as palate cleansers between storytellers (we also live-score the stories!).
We’ll bring you (typically 1-2 band members) back to the stage during the show to play two or three songs with the host band (fiddle, pedal steel, etc). We usually do one of the guest’s originals, as well as a cover or two. The unique collaboration will, most likely, be unlike anything else you (or we) have done.
One thing we’ve found, is that the “storytelling” crowd isn’t necessarily accustomed to loud rock concerts. We prefer to have the musical guest play a quieter, stripped-down set. If your act tends towards the louder side of things, a special-event stripped-down (or possibly acoustic) performance can be an extremely cool experience for your fans.
